In Memorium: Carmelo Feritta
The Linthicum community lost an important friend in late November when Carmelo Feritta, the gregarious owner of Squisito’s Too on Camp Meade Road passed away suddenly. Since opening the restaurant in 2008 he had emerged as a well-liked, always affable business owner and community benefactor. I talked at length with Carmelo in 2009 about his life in America and how he eventually landed in Linthicum.

Stoll, Simon Earn Mayoral Honors
John Merle Stoll and Bernadette "Bernie" Simonhave been chosen as the 2012 Honorary and Deputy Mayors of Linthicum, respectively. Both have been long-time residents and contributors to the community.

Veterans Day: Servicemen Honored at Linthicum Veterans Memorial
The Linthicum community held a wreath-laying ceremony and bricks dedication on Veterans Day for men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Arundel Hills: A Cautionary Lesson in Local Development
Some last-minute work between the community, County Councilam Daryl Jones and County Executive John Leopold helped avert the approval of a development that would have be harmful to the Linthicum community.
