Park Clean-up: We have one more park clean up on May 12th
from 10 a.m. to noon. Please help and bring gloves and a rake. This
has been a successful project for the LSIA in conjunction with the
Woman's Club of Linthicum, so let's keep it going. Without the cleanups
the park will not be as pretty for the Summer Concerts in the Park as
it has in the past. There are several projects for the Recreation and
Parks Department to do this year if we can get them to. The tennis
courts need repair as the cracks have again opened up. The fence needs
to be replaced and other smaller items need repair. And don't forget
the always enjoy able "Free Picnic" offered by the LSIA, usually the
last Sunday in July or the first Sunday in August. The date of the 2007
Picnic will be published in The Monitor.
